Here’s what I got at my Salvation Army Family Store this month for around $25.
I see a craft project with this tray. Not sure what it will be yet, but it may include some chalkboard paint!!
J Crew Sweater
Mustard is a hot color right now and this is the first of two mustard items I picked up this month at my local Salvation Army Family Thrift Store. I love this sweater and can’t wait to pair it with some skinny jeans, boots, and a plaid shirt or scarf. J Crew is a brand I absolutely love but I just can’t afford to pay around $70 for a sweater!!
NWT Boys Shirt
This shirt retails for $42. There would be NO way I would pay that for this shirt. I was super excited for finding it 90% off!! Can’t wait for my son to wear this shirt with his Sperrys and some khaki shorts this summer.
Vintage Wool Scarf
I’ve been drooling over all the plaid scarves I’ve been seeing in stores and online this fall. I knew I could find one at my local Salvation Army Family Thrift if I just kept my eyes open!! This is a vintage which is a double score for me!!
NWT Gymboree Set
$1.99 each piece
I spotted the NWT sweater first. This sweater is absolutely adorable and retails for $34.50!! I knew this sweater would probably been purchased with a skirt or pants to match, so I slowly made my way down the aisles and found these red velvet pants from Gymboree in the same size, so I snagged them too!!
NWT Eddie Bauer Blouse
$2.49 (1/2 price tag)
I LOVE this top!! The mix of colors is amazing – aqua, mustard, black, cream, and gray!! I will be wearing this during the winter months with a cardigan and then in the spring and summer with a fun skirt or capris. Eddie Bauer is one of my favorite stores and I love getting their catalogs, but a $39.99 blouse is just not in the budget!!
My three boys love Harry Potter and we’ve been on the lookout for something Harry like for awhile. This Gryffindor scarf was a hit when the boys pulled it out of the bag.
Ann Taylor Skinnies
Here is my second mustard item!! I’ve been trying to find a pair of skinnies in olive, burgundy, or mustard for awhile. Online these would have retailed for around $60!! They really don’t look or feel worn. I will be pairing these with sweaters, boots, and my plaid scarf this winter and with ballet flats and my Eddie Bauer blouse this spring and summer!!
About Me: I’m Nikki!! I’ve been married to Tommy for 17 years. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of four, who loves a good bargain. I love thrifting for ANYTHING! From an early age, thrifting was a way of life for me. My family is fashionably clothed and my home comfortably furnished, with second hand finds. I am always scouting out Craigslist, thrift stores, garage sales, and dumpsters for goodies!! I find more joy out of finding an awesome used item, than when I find a retail sale. I’m not afraid to revamp an outdated outfit, think outside the box, or tackle a renovation project with my treasures.
